I’m Jeevant Prakhar Singh, a passionate Computer Science and Engineering student specialising in IoT and Information Security at Manipal University, Jaipur. With a solid foundation in programming languages like C++, Java, and Python, I’ve developed a keen interest in cutting-edge technologies, including Federated Learning, Machine Learning, and Web Development.

During my time as a Summer Research Intern at ABB Innovation Center, I worked on Transfer Federated Learning to enhance data privacy and optimize machine learning models for IoT devices. I also explored cloud services like Azure and Google Cloud for CI/CD pipeline integration, further broadening my skill set.

With hands-on experience in full-stack development using technologies such as ReactJS, NodeJS, and ThreeJS. My projects reflect my deep interest in creating functional, efficient, and visually compelling solutions.

As an Undergraduate Researcher under the guidance of Dr. Usha Choudhary, I am working on projects related to Internet of Things (IoT) and Sensor technologies. This research experience allows me to delve deep into the practical applications of IoT, exploring how sensors interact with various systems and contribute to the larger domain of connected technologies. Through hands-on experimentation and critical analysis, I continue to expand my technical knowledge in this cutting-edge field.

Summer Researcher

During my internship at ABB Innovation Center, I focused on Federated Learning, contributing to the development of privacy-preserving AI solutions in the realm of IoT. ABB, a leader in IoT sensor and heavy electronics manufacturing, leverages AI for predictive maintenance and monitoring.

Student Placement Coordinator

Mar 2024 - Present / Manipal University Jaipur

In my role as the Student Placement Coordinator, I lead the integration of top multinational companies (MNCs) into the university’s placement program. I manage all aspects of the placement process, including liaising with HR representatives, scheduling, and organizing logistical arrangements for company visits. By overseeing this process, I ensure that both students and employers experience a seamless, efficient engagement. This role has provided me with valuable insights into corporate recruitment practices and strengthened my organisational and leadership skills, while fostering important connections within the academic and corporate communities.

I was selected to participate in an in-person hackathon hosted by buildspace, a platform backed by a16z and Y Combinator. During this event, I collaborated with a diverse group of innovators to address real-world problems through technology-driven solutions.

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering

I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Internet of Things (IoT) and Information Security at Manipal University, Jaipur. I began my studies in September 2022 and am expected to graduate in May 2026. With a CGPA of 8.71 up to my 4th semester, I have been recognized for academic excellence, receiving the Dean’s Excellence Award in both my 3rd and 4th semesters.
